Alysasa ( my birith name is Alyssia ) was the name given to me at the legendary Washginton DC - Chevy Chase haunt the "Booeymonger"  over twenty five years ago by someone who used to call me a PHATgirl. I am the founder of a non profit: My Darling Theo Foundation,  whose primary premise is to get Humane Education taught K-12 in public schools.  A realist believer in human ingenuity and the power of one to make change, my hope with thePHATgirls is to create an international organization for "girls" -  ( kids, teens and women ) that transcends, race, class, culture and age.  Join me in celebrating the PHAT ( Pretty Healthy Active Talented ) in all of us girls!
